Explore the power of mindfulness and meditation together with other interested people, here in Lund. This in person event offers you the opportunity to practice mindfulness in a few different ways. The gathering will be guided by Wake Up Lund’s more experienced meditators, they will aid you in exploring what you are experiencing in the present moment, with a gentle and compassionate attitude. The event is free* and can be attended by anyone aged 18-40:ish.

It is important to respect the boundaries of both yourself as well as others in this space, you share and partake of the activities in a way that is right for you. Everything that you and others might share during the gathering stays in that space.
Time
We start at 18:15, for the first 10 minutes the host will introduce the practice to new participants before the gathering actually starts (at 18:30). If you have attended before you can join between 18:15-18:25 instead. Please be on time (the door needs to be manually unlocked so please be there at the latest at 18:25, in order to respect everyone's time). The event lasts until about 20:30.
Who is welcome?
Anyone aged 18-40:ish, no matter your level of previous experience with mindfulness or meditation. If you are new, please contact us beforehand so we know you are planing to attend.
Price
You can join three times for free to try out if these gathering and this community is for you. Afterwards we ask for a small membership fee, in order to cover the ongoing costs of renting the space. We are a volunteer led community with the aim of supporting peoples' development of their own mindfulness, and that is a gift that should be shared with the world, not locked behind a pay wall, so the amount you pay for the membership can be chosen by you.
What do you need to bring
Yourself, nothing more, nothing less.
During the event we usually find ourselves sitting in a circle on the floor, seated on meditation cushions that are available at the location. If you have your own preferred cushion (or similar), feel free to bring it. (There are also benches and chairs available if your body is in need of a different seating arrangement.)
Event host
Some of Wake Up Lund’s members that are more experienced in meditation and mindfulness. Some are also officially certified as mindfulness instructors.
